Wonder where they are today?

If I may I would like to start a photo thread, a mans photo collection
of old tin he had come across or collected in his life.

A little background on this story. A family contacted me through a friend
as I was a "car guy" he thought I could help them with their task.
Seems a brother had past and him being a collector of not only tin
he collected many other things, among them was a rack of photos. But first
as I said they had no idea what the cars would be worth so hoped I could
give them an idea. If I wasn't sure I put them in contact with someone
who was.. anyway back to the rack of photos I saw sitting in a pile of
trash awaiting the dump, I asked what they were and they said photos that
their brother had collected of old cars and they were going to the dump.
I told them it would be a shame and offered to buy them, they couldn't
imagine why I would give them money for them but agreed to sell them to me.

So in memory of Teddy the fella that spent a lifetime in the hobby I thought
that perhaps as I did you might like to have a look through them as well?
I will attempt this please bare with me. I will start with some trucks and
continue through the pile if thats ok with you fellas? Hope you enjoy as
I did.... I can't help but wonder where they might be today?

Awsome! It doesn't seem like too long ago that sort of stuff was around anywhere you looked. When I first got involved in this stuff as a kid in the seventies you didn't even really look at postwar stuff 'cause it was "too new". Now it's all gold.

Thanks, I figured what a waste of a lifetime of memories to just trash em was unthinkable to me.
As for the avatar its just an old pic I found on the internet, plus its a Willy's pckup and my first thought was " I think I can fix that!". Glad you liked it and thought it cool, so did I. Sorta wish I knew more about it?
