wiw? early chevy truck

got a line on an early chevy truck today. been watching it for years, told owner of my interest and low and behold he called. now the hard part. he says he has no idea of worth and i have not bought a truck like this before. don't want to cheat him and know some of you have been here before. thanks.

 

At least 3 grand. Dont find em like that.

 

i'm gonna have to find an investor.... didn't mention the drivetrain is complete and turns. straight six.

 

It's a very incomplete 29 or 30....$800 max

 

looks like a nice solid piece. not worth three grand maybe 5or 600

 

yeah, i offered 500. figured i wasn't far off but told him i would "shop" it around to be sure not to short him. where do i go to find those rear wheels? plan to build a steel tub and either make a roadster truck or wood up the cab kinda like original if i find some doors. thanks.

 

thats a 5 hundee truck in any currency. quite a heavy chassis though but tin looks sound.

 

Worth at least $300 or so a ton as scrap.

 

If you need another - I know where one is - Guy will sell cheap ( pretty sure ) and I'm in Alva so You can't be to far away.
