Meet the Boss. She learned to drive a four speed in my '67 Camaro SS350,
practiced in my '63 Corvette, took my '69 Corvette if she had the urge
and bought her own 125 and 400 cc dirt bikes.

 

Shades, a big grin, dash mounted tach, and a roll bar should be a warning to other drivers ! Great picture.

Thanks. It'll be 48 years in September (and she's no "little old lady" yet).

Thanks ! Love your 55. I had almost the ringer to yours back in 71/72. Rolled it inside the twentieth century drive in theater just after watching Two Lane Blacktop. Boy I loved that car. I did keep the sweet 327 I built for her.

 

Two lane had quite a effect on you. Two lane has inspired lots of gassers.

My wife and the old U.F.O. I gave $100. for the coupe and a $100. for a driving 67 Chevy parts car. They weren't called rr's back then. But just a low buck Hot Rod. The expression on her face says what she really thinks of our ride. Probably just tore her nylons. lol

I wish (then again, maybe I'm glad I don't) that I had a pic of my wife the night
in 1981 that we picked up a '66 Nova that broke down less than four miles from
the seller's home. 10:00 pm, two kids along, stuck in a Shell lot with the owner
wanting us to get the hell out of there. I wish I could erase that night from my
wife's life.

Started dating Bonnie in '79...been married for 38 years now. '48 Ford pickup,289, 4spd. These pics were taken right before I chopped it.
(NOTE her piss green OT Monte Carlo she's leaning on).

 

Still in the dating stage. My '58 Ranchero. Was hit in the front when i got it, replaced sheet metal with '57 parts. Stuffed a 390, 4spd in it. Frame was still a little tweaked...never drove right.
