Wire on wind lace / welting

I am struggling to find this in the Uk , It's the type that's two beads large and small joined by wire and all covered. You nail it on and knock it over to conceal the tacks
Le baron and A trim supply it covered

But

I require it un covered as I am using a very specific cloth that needs to match for a customers car

Can any one help?

Who supplies LeBarron Bonney & Hampton Coach? I presume they would be aware of their supplier? I bought my complete OEM kit form Hampton

 

I don't know that it is available uncovered. I have spent nearly 50 years in trim business and not seen it. I have covered over the premade with different cloths and vinyls. Also have made my own .Takes some experiementing to get what you like. Good luck Jack

 

thanks . I thought that might be the case. I am trying to replicate an interior pretty exactly so may have to cover over some, I am just worried it would look to bulky

Maybe ask for a sample piece and try covering to be sure.
