That´s probably not the only problem ... there seems to be a freeze crack on the side of the block just beneath the head between the motor mount boss and the dipstick hole... but I may be wrong
I'm pretty sure there had to be water in the pan to crack it like that. Motor doesn't technically (crystalize) freeze. It does go beyond it's pourpoint at -35 to -50 degrees
At the third bolt from the left there's a long crack that water was seeping out of.. I hope I'm wrong..
