Here's some pics of my past and present rides during winter driving over here in Sweden.

In my neck of the woods when it snows all the people that had to have all wheel drive cars bitch about there being a1/2” of snow on the road so the municipality’s dump a ton of salt on the road. So my stuff stays inside. But those are great pics of your car.

Yeah I agree on the salt. I stay away from any salted road when driving my cars on winter. It's fun to go for a small drive during wintertime especially since we have about 4 months of that here.

Yup, I don't care about snow. It's SALT I'm avoiding. My car is snug, warm, and covered in the heated garage. My snowmobile goes thru the snow better anyway....

Around here last Saturday was the, don't take any old car out anymore, date as they began the liquid salt and now mixed with molasses so it really sticks to the road and CARS. Great huh! It was laid down Saturday for AGAIN a predicted snow flurry event Sunday that of course did not happen. Great time to actually cover up all the old cars in the garage and not use till no salt days this spring.

Molasses can actually be used as a rust remover:D Some deicing chemicals are worse than rock salt...I live in a rural area where most everyone has all wheel drive and or knows how to drive on snow...My town uses primarily sand and cinder mix....In crowded suburban areas snow and ice on roads would be a demolition derby ....

My 30 pickup was a daily driver for years and sat outside after I ran out of garage space, in the end it was tough on it but that's what I built it for. Sold it after 20 years because I didn't want to redo it, was rusting through the bed where the mounts are, the rear fenders where they bolt to the running boards, had already replaced the top wood once and the paint was going bad. Sold it to a friend who has a farm on a gravel road and wanted an A to drive without having to worry about it. The final picture is it heading to the Oklahoma farm.

  27. They use too much salt here to even consider driving after a snow event. November thru March is sleepy time for my cars.

  28. I drive mine year round but when we have a rare snow I leave them in the garage, that's what daily drivers are for.

Now yard art is exposed to the weather 365 days a year, let it snow. HRP

  29. I had no choice last year when the bird was my only daily driver. First time I have driven something old in the mess we rarely get in this part of the country in probably 30 years or so. Kind of surprised a few folks I think seeing it out in the snow.

  30. Living in the city they plow several times an hour when it's snowing, but I've had the t-bucket out several times in it, the 41 was in the snow in the way that you don't want one in the snow.
