windshield wiper

    for those of you with chopped tops, are you running a windshield wiper? if so where did you get it or what did you make it from?

    I've heard the back window wiper motor from many imports work well.
     
  3. Whether the car or truck is chopped or not a universal windshield wiper motor from any rod parts dealer will do the job. HRP

    thanks ill check into them, I got one from speedway but it isn't short enough and doesnt look like it should be cut

    You might even check into the wipers on headlights. I picked up some wiper arms off of a BMW that are really short.

    I would think you would leave the stock wiper motor alone. Take the wiper arms and cut them down or replace with shorter ones, and put on shorter blades.

    I think there's a thread where someone used MG wiper stands and remote mounted wiper motor.
    Stock arms are fairly short with those.
