I just got a call from Robert Hamke about his 1951 Bonneville car
    He's back on the restoration
He ask If I knew what these "Stanchions" came off of
I do not...But I'm sure someone on here
He has repaired the old ones but it looking for replacements

Stanchions...much early repro stuff up into early '60's was cast aluminum. Those are '26-7 roadster lowers grafted to the hinge cup from something '30-32.

  4. Bruce look at those lowers again,,I say they are Model A

Yeah...not flat enough for '27! Remember all the cast aluminum stuff in the catalogs before they tooled up for more serious attempts at replacement parts?
