When I first started on my Willys PU I had a friend do some artwork to show it with several commonly available rear fenders but at that point I was thinking street rod. I settled on some ‘37 Ford fenders similar to the blue Willys. I came to my senses and built it ‘60s gasser style and those fenders were no longer appropriate. I saw a nice Willys pu at a show and he said his rears were Model A! They were rotated forward so the flat running board area was cut off and the rear reshaped slightly. They looked right for a race car, better than stock fenders or trailer fenders, were readily available in fiberglass and a tall pie crust slick fits the opening perfectly. I have a 35mm picture somewhere.

Thanks Swade! That is probably my favorite Willys gasser ever.
