Projects Willys bumpers on a Dodge A100 van

Thanks to a van I saw at LoneStar Roundup I was inspired to seek a set of Willys Wagon rear bumper extensions for my A100 when a knucklehead hit-and-run my van when it was on display at a local restaurant.

Found the bumpers.on eBay and now I will attempt to fashion a bracket to the factory mount point and see if it can come close to supporting the entire weight of the bumper on each side

I doubt that will work

Ok, so this is gonna be a short thread. Looks like I can re-use the A100 bumper mounting bolts and brackets since I am not opting for the cooler but way-beyond-my-skillset "smoothed" bumper look where no mounting bolts are visible.

 

Gotta trim the ends where they hit the door
