I just seen this on my Facebook page. Looks more like a real estate auction but has 5-6 Willys cars and trucks for sale. '33-'36 and '37ans '38 along with an old Dodge pilot house pickup truck and a model T truck as well as a bunch of other O/T vintage stuff. https://www.estatesales.net/CA/San-Jose/95124/2784780/98337254

  3. Reminds me of a guy I ran across in Bakersfield, maybe 10 years ago. There was a shop on Rosedale HWY on the west side of town that had a '40 coupe sitting outside. I couldn't resist so I stopped to talk to the owner. Inside the shop were 3 or 4 prewar Willys in various stages of build. The guy's story was he found an old guy with 20 or so primo stock Willys in the Mojave desert and agreed to buy them all for $20K. Something we dream about but know can never happen in real life. Have to check my memory occasionally to make sure it was real!!

Wow, there's a lot of stuff, too bad they didn't give a better pic of the parts along side the garage/shed/house.

  8. No. We moved to Texas when I retired in Jan 2019. Wouldn't have money to bid on any cars anyway so would be a form of torture!!

Ya Willys36, Jeff, I remembered you had Moved. I just didn't think you could resist the temptation of all them Willys posted before that auction. Yes I was also tortured, sad.
