    It should work in the same fashion, PROVIDING, your headlight trims rings are a weldable material, not pot metal (zinc diecast).........

    If you can get to the headlight buckets from under the fenders to change a headlight.
    On this setup you have to get the headlights aimed perfectly before you weld the rings on.
    Take bucket out, reverse clips, install buckets from the back. Aim the head lights. remove buckets, weld on the rings/doors and do the body work and reinstall the lights.
    As usual with his how to threads Tyler did an excellent job of step by step instructions there.

    Hey,

    Try and find some carbon steel headlamp doors if possible. Stainless steel, when in contact with carbon steel, and moisture can cause problems in the years ahead. Die cast (Zamac) can be soldered to carbon steel using low heat and a good eye. If you do a good job of fitting and welding up the steel ones, little or no plastic filler should be necessary.
