When you read Chassis data specs and it says " overall length" i assume that means the vehicle's length and not the frame, correct?
I'm looking at a 1963 Impala wagon and I'm trying to get the length of the car to make sure it will fit in my garage. It read 17.5 feet for the overall length. Just trying to make sure. that would make it a foot longer than my Bel Air but still give some room in the garage.
    thanks.

i would think so, otherwise the spec would be wheelbase, which would denote distance from front wheel centerline to rear wheel centerline.

if it don't fit in the garage, just park it in Dingles garage.

I would expect the car is at least 17ft long bumper to bumper.
