Will 46-48 ford spindles work with a 28-31 ford axle?

    Will 46-48 ford spindles work with a 28-31 ford axle??
    and will a 28-31 ford perch work with a 32 axle?

    The spindles fit, you just need the king pins for the year of the spindles. Those are a bit longer. As for the perch for the bones, I'm not sure. The stock A axle is 2 1/4" if I remember it correctly. I know for a while the change it to 2", then back to 2 1/4" again later on. I've got a 41 axle and it's 2 1/4". But I'm using the A because it is a bit wider, and it's drop, is only about 3/4" less than the more curved 41 unit. Also there is more room between the spindles and the bones by using the model a axle, so you can get a bit more turning radius. I've got my 47 spindles mounted on it, with no problem.
