  6. No info, but looks like it says "Mayfair"
Can't make out what's under that, possibly "Auto Parts"

I didn't notice earlier but note the cowl lights.

Not completely sure but this appears to be an earlier version of the same car:

I used to buy my parts from Mayfair's and Hollywood Auto parts..... That was before the internet.... No wonder why they both went belly up.... :(

    NICE FIND SANCHO, THANK YOU.
WHAT DID YOU SEARCH FOR? I DIDN'T GET ANYTHING.

  10. Well, I thought it said Mayfair and possibly Auto Parts. That's what I googled "Mayfair Auto Parts" and "Mayfair Auto Parts coupe".

  11. You’re correct @Sancho, it says Mayfair Auto Parts on the side of that coupe.

I'm glad others had info on this one. This picture was taken at my cousin's dragstrip in Windsor Ontario Canada, Windsor Dragway. It had to of been taken between 1968 and 1971 cause that was as long as this strip was around. There's some cool footage of this strip on youtube and some tribute pictures. Although it had a short history, It sure had an eventful one. Here's a shot of Wally parks cutting the ribbon with my cousins on opening day.

Low hanging pipes, engine/transmission below frame, body set back, cowl/radiator mismatch, stupid horn, tail lights, fuel tank between engine and body. I'm pretty sure the body is white. If that's correct, I hate that too, especially with white walls and a black top.
And, no front brakes, way different pivots for the drag link and hair pins.
I think he looked at the Norm Grabowski T and said, "Let's do everything opposite on this car and we'll be cool by being different."

  30. A couple of my header designs. These kinda designed themselves in trying to fit the location and achieve equal length tubes.
