    I originally built these for the blown engine, way too big for this little aspo 350 in the car this time, but I own them and they fit the car, besides, bleeding off a bit of bottom end torque might save the muncie. Off getting coated white.

    That is half of a Pontiac Tempest 4 cyl that Pontiac made by using one bank of the 389 Pontiac engine!

    I heard that Tommy Ivo put four of these engines on a dragster to make the world's first four-engine-yet-still-single-engine dragster.

    Later, in the early '80's, Cadillac used them in their 8/6/2 cars. Whenever you needed full power, you'd use all four engines. If you needed less power but better milage, you'd simply remove one or two engines and store them in the trunk.

    Yes. Durring one hypnotic session about a year ago, Dr. Don was able to pull up some repressed photographic memories of it. Soon as I finish my Jello cup I'll draw you some pictures of it.

    No problem you can never tell what they were doing back then especially Mickey Thompson he made some weird stuff to set class records.:)
