Technical width '50 dodge axle

    Anyone that can tell me what the size is of a rear axle on a 1950s dodge coronet?

    Tread width is 59 inches and that is usually center of tire to center of tire.
    I'm thinking that Dodge didn't change the rear axle width much over the years and checking through this list Shows that late 60's Coronets hand a tread with a half inch narrower. http://classiccardatabase.com/postwar-models/Dodge.php

    ....are you asking about the wms to wms of the axle or the size of the ring gear?
