I have a 39 sedan. I want to keep the stock wheels but the brake drums with the wide 5 , 5 x10 1/2 bolt pattern are worn-out. I can't get replacement drums any where. I can get the 1940 5x5 1/2 drums new. Has anyone made adapters to go from the 40 droms to the 39 wheels?

May want to check on that, Dick passed away, I think other companies acquired some of his product line.

I have an extra set of '37 drums; I think they fit, but I'm not sure. Too bad I'm half a world away from you.

Thanks. I will follow those leads up. But I'm keen for more suggestions.

There is a guy either here on the HAMB or over on the Ford Barn that was making them. I believe he was in the Pacific Northwest. I'll go back through some of my old PM's and see if I can come up with more info but sorry that's all I've got for now.
