This wheel came out of car collection in Eastern Tenn. It is 16in wheel that is 5in wide. I have no idea what this wheel came on. If you anyone has a match I would be interested. Thanks for all the help. Peace.

If you can stick your head thru it and it doesn't hurt it is ford. If it hurts it's VW.

Not my tech advice but that' how I remember. ...

Definintely Ford and not VW, but not the standard 36-39 car wheel, I think this is a special pickup truck one because it doesn't have the little scallops around the outside edge that make it look like an "artillery" wheel once it has the wide 5 hubcap on it. I've seen them before but I guess they're fairly rare like that, can get a bit more meat of a tire on that one.

The ford 8N, 9N, and 2N tractors also had a big wide 5 wheel. I'm not sure of the size though.

Chris nailed it. 39-42 3/4 Ton used these wheels.

One ton was 17" from 38-47, but the much rarer 39-42 3/4 ton used the above picture 16x5 "wide five" wheels.

Yes, on the rear, along with 16x3-1/2" "V8-60" wheels up front with 37 Lincoln Zephyr caps.

I have a set of these which come of a Military '37 Ford Aussie ute. They are still 16 X 4 , never seen any like these before. 29025393_950784278420252_332006357869789184_n.jpg

Not doubting what you are saying, but those look an awful lot like a set of home-built wheels I have for my vintage dirt modified.
