    ^^^^ Just asking ,
I know the feeling of 125inch modern A/Fc, they just do not go straight !!

  3. I dont run a computer so i cant provide those numbers. If you want to talk nitro racing i will be talking about plugs; bearings; leakdown; look of the pipes etc. A data logger is the next big investment over winter.

Ah- gotcha, what pump are you running (volume), total nozzle area, how much (gpm) at the hit?? Are you running a BDK? Where do you have it set??

I've heard rumors that the Ben Rizzio car survived in as raced condition sitting in a garage next to his Lamborghini. Sure would like to see a current photo if that is the case. Those fuel coupes are certainly wicked!

  14. The pump is a enderle 24 gal dual spur gear steel pump. I would have to look at my notes for the total on the nozzles. I run four nozzles in the blower with 48s. I run both idle and run nozzles in the manifold. The blower is a littlefield retro with the pie opening. Its moved back on the manifold. 8-71 black strips only. It is a street car. Barrel valve set at 80 percent with the pipes damp. Timing is 45-50 nitro is 80-85 depending on the track.

...I consider this Sport Coupe wicked in it's own way...especially being an inspired Vintage Hotrod...it's truly been a timewarp for me every time I get in and turn the key...Kudos to Jerry for his truly nostalgic vision for making it happen...;)

    Jerry Dilbecks altered 34.
On a side note, I ended up with the motor that was in this record holder. 283 w/4x2 & 4 speed hydro.

Yes, that would be icing on the cake! I was lucky enough to see the Mooneyham and Sharp car make a tire smoking pass at a Seattle nostalgia race a long time ago with the "Mad Austrian" Gerry Steiner at the helm. What a sight it must have been seeing two of these cars going at it! I'm pretty sure this shot is from Puyallup. Hey look there's some traditional aluminum heads!

...The Owner of this Hotrod/Drag Coupe just became a member and chimed in yesterday. Apparently it remains pretty much as you see it there...I encouraged him to get the tarp off and get out and enjoy it...its been in storage for many years...and he's going to do just that...awesome...
