Why my wife rocks..or what did you get for Christmas

I got one of those too! I'm so excited.
I've got over 20 years of my familys slides to scan.

I also got a 7 foot fiberglass step ladder
2 saw horses
2 large hefty garbage cans on wheels
3 silver charms for my hot rod charm bracelet
another wii remote and recharging station
a ipod with ear buds
a lepoard print pillow for my new couch
a beautiful throw/blanket
George Forman grill
flannel PJ bottoms
red/black scarf
3 hot rod themed Christmas ornaments

But the best part was all the time spent hanging out with frends and family the last few days.

Here's my favorite photo of the our family's celebration. My 5 year old smart as a whip little cousin asks me for a book to read. I have no kids, so no kid books. I say to him all I have is car magazines. His eyes get all big and round. My 19 year old nephew then shows him where my magazines are kept and let him pick out whatever he wanted. Alittle while later he's sitting at the table methodically paging threw and looking at all the photos. He sat there and looked at that GG yearbook page by page, cover to cover. I then of course took him out the garage and let him and his little brother "drive" Big Olds. Really looking forward to getting them both out to a car event or two this summer.

 

I got a new Miller auto darkening helmet, a nice contoured creeper and an engine stand with the gear crank head to rotate the motor. My wife and kids rock!

 

Got a 50 dollar gift certificate to my favorite parts store National.But damnit they were closed today Due to Holiday.....Lol

 

My girlfriend got me a new custom mailbox.

 

And all I got was a cobbled up flat black abortion that functions nicely for knocking off liquer stores!

 

I am blessed with a great wife, but WOW...what a great "joint" gift....that keeps on giving! I got effing luggage!!!

my spouse got the flu and I got to take care of her. YAY FOR ME!

 

I got nothin,.... yet...I had to work today ( i cant be too upset i got 12 hours of triple time) so we're doin Xmas a day late. That was her idea. Nice

 

I got this....and if people would stop bumping up the "wha'd ya get" posts...I will stop posting it, I promise.

BTW, Its a '65 coronet 440....she found it, paid for it then made me earn it by hauling it onto the trailer with a small come-along and 3 flat tires, not to mention it had been slowing sinking into the earth for about 8 years. I worked my butt off to earn it, but its worth it.

 

I bumped it....

I ended up getting a couple of books on house design(I'm in the middle of one of those things ), some books of striping art, an iPad with iRig and Amplitube3.7 on it...so that I can play guitar without waking up the dead...oh yes, a set of Sennheiser headphones...

 

They say divorce is so expensive because its worth it?? Wouldnt trade my wife for a divorce any time soon.......

 

My lovely wife of almost 20 years gave me a combination anniversary/christmas gift of plane tickets,
motel, rental car and passes to the Barrett Jackson auction in Phoenix. Ya she's a keeper, and she's coming with too.

 

I got a tiki hot sauce set.

 

An android tablet! Now I can surf the HAMB in style!

 

My wife gave me a gift certificate, good for one round trip to LA, the only stipulation is that I have to drive her car, 1938 Chevy. So I guess we are going to the LA roadster show for Father's day. My youngest daughter surprised both of us with oil paintings of our cars done by a friend of hers......................pretty cool!

Fiance got me a new Milwaukee grinder. I love this girl...

I've already had it for a few months, but this was what the Mrs. got me this year.

My wife got me this ring. I thought it was pretty sweet. It's got my logo and all.

A new GPS unit to replace my TomTom that stopped and a belt sander (really top notch unit) that we will exchange (wife thought I could use it on my cars and didn't know a had one). She felt bad about it because she takes pride in always getting me the coolest tools and after 10 years this is the first time she made a mistake. My parents got me a 4-post lift a few months ago for a early X-mas gift.

 

You guy's get some seriously cool stuff for Christmas!! All I got this year was a text message from my sister, and she spelt my name wrong!!!
