Actually Studebaker was way ahead of there time.
They did setup a factory drift team, the #6 car was one of the early ones, unfortunatly the other factory race teams were not informed of this new motor sport and the whole project was dropped and the demise of Studebaker ensued!
Japanese drift teams were not to be for another40 years!
