Why are Studebaker owners different?

I really don't think we're that different, however I have grown back my beard, and my mullet is coming right along...

Hemi, ...why does the paint job in that 1st pic seem so appropriate? ...and just what is this thing with Stewedbakers & fuzzy cartoon critters, looks to be contagious?

 

I like the car! The suit...not so much...

 

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that there are no children playing in the street or in front of homes at this particular moment the photo was snapped..lol

 

I will buy you a case of beer if you wear that "outfit" all week at Bonneville.

A friend of mine informed me recently, that I am to recieve his cherry '59 Lark coupe when he passes on. He will probably outlive me and my son will be the recipient at his demise.

A race between a Studebaker and a Holden, what did they time it with a sun dial?

By the way what happened to the driver of the Holden?

They were asking $1800 for the car and I drove it home for $800.

So the $50 Winnie the Pooh suit MORE than paid for itself!

That Lark was probably a V8 which means it could have been Paxton equipped which means it would be faster than any small block equipped American car and a lot faster than any Holden. So no sun dial needed. Just a fast stop watch. Check out the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drags for verification on how fast they are. This year two guys were talking about their luck at the races. One guy said he was doing better than his buddy. His buddy had to race one of the Studebakers.

As far as ugly goes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I mean there are guys who think Angelia Jolie is ugly!! So not all people have fully functioning minds.

I built my studebaker to "BE" different. Wanted a strange car with a strange motor, Big block Buick in an altered wheelbase 55 studebaker. Don't have to worry about someone showing up at the drags with my car in a different color.

 

i didnt think we were different.i just happen to think they make the best looking fat fender trucks.

 

Maybe because their cars are different,...?
