    Maybe things have changed...but I dont think I have ever worked on a car or an engine wearing a white lab coat. Cool car tho!

    Me too. I've been looking at the flat head and had never seen the old Merc.

  10. When I took Auto Shop back in the dark ages, not only did the teacher wear a white lab coat, we had to also! Actually it was the early 1970's!
     
  11. It was in the Dome at the Motorama this year. I think he works for a movie studio. I thought the Caddy bumper didn't work with a stock height,basically,stock Merc. It would look better on a full Custom Merc.

  13. I didnt want to date myself, but yeah. Late 70's early 80's we still had 'em. My senior year they switched to cover-alls and steel toe's.
