It's on my bucket list!!!
...to be pulled with this!
started on the metal on mine this weekend
Two Tear Drops heading north thru Idaho and Montana last June (2011).
Each one was hand built by both guys.
Some great ideas here.
That is the biggest teardrop I have ever seen. Nice job! I wish my rpu could pull your "sweet suite".
Here's a newer pic he posted over on the Old Campers thread...
that thing is gonna be waaaay beyond sweet.
here is my sons Kit with rebuild pictures. he kept the frame and the skin.
not a teardrop, but heres my effort.
That is slick. I've got a 15 ft "huntin" trailer I bought a few years ago when a friend had it for sale too cheap to pass up that I want to strip to the bare frame (it was gutted when I bought it" and build it back as a smaller trailer to pull behind my 48.
I'm almost done with mine, got a few details to work out.
It's meant to haul mobility scooters to car shows, both my wife and my dad use em to get around.
Just have to whip up a bumper and ramp locators, and hatch struts on on order.
I've got some L track and used seatbelts/mounts from a buss to secure the cargo with.
Got her done and debuted her at the local cruise night, quite the hit
