You know the rules Mike, gotta have pictures! get that camera out for those of us too stupid to read.

  2. Thanks, :D
Can you take a measurement for me? I need to put my motor mounts in and need to know centre of rad mount hole to center of motor mount measurement. Are you running an 8ba with truck mounts? Pictures would help.
Done some reseach. Best I could come up with was centre of rad hole to edge of mount 6 1/2". Would that be okay?

I'm having a tough time finding a decent body for the T-V8 I've started. I have a '15-23 original body, but it needs LOTS of work and $$$ to make it usable. I've considered using a fiberglass body, but I was afraid I'd get run off the HAMB if I did. What's the deal on that? Is a 'glass body allowed here? The rest of the car will pass Traditional muster just fine.

  4. Plenty of glass T's on here, both 23-25 and 26-27. Go for it.:) JW

  5. Just backed the RPU out of the workshop and did some laps of the front paddock, it felt real good and I may say there is a bit less grass than before. Taking it out on a back road soon, yeah I feel good !!:cool::D:D JW

  6. Glad for you man.
Still have somethings to do but I'll get there.;)

  9. Hello. Mine is just over 5 inches. I made a small rectangle box with an inlet and an outlet so the lower hose attaches on to it then a copper U tube back forward to the lower rad inlet. Each side uses 6 hose clamps. never had any trouble with it in 30 years. Maybe you can see more on this www.1948fordpickup.blogspot.ca
Hope it helps. I did not cut the firewall and if I get of my butt hope to swap engines in Feb to a 36 with an early Roof two carb and get it going for Deuce Day in July.

Thanks for the kind words Squablow. I just like 27 roadsters on a 32 frame.

  20. Hi Graham, I may be there with the T. There is so much on that Sunday (Mangatinoka, Wheels at Dannevirke, Magoos open house and the last day of Cruise Martinborough.) but I will try and get there. Since the car is not legal yet I may trailer it most of the way or may just go for it. I will let you know. JW

Looks like a 33-38 Dodge axle if I am not mistaken.

Anybody got any good pic's of that old Iskenderian model T roadster?
I think it had a 32 grille from memory, its been a while since I saw it.
    Neat hot rod...

I wonder who owns it these days?

Afaik Ed still owns his car, but it's on display in the NHRA museum. I think the grille is made from '34 Pontiac pieces.

Well, mine continues to be at a standstill until such time that my Model A roadster is on the road. In the meantime, here's a shot of the car, built to resemble, but not be a rip on Mercury Charlie's old T. T SHOT--STEVE\'S GARAGE.jpg

  28. This taken three weeks ago on its first test drive on a road, we were doing about 60 mph in the pic. Only a small trans line leak to attend to after.:cool: JW

  29. And this pic was taken at its first show (Cruise Martinborugh) as I was warming her up to leave. What a great day we had. It is still being built though. JW
