Art & Inspiration Who uses a 45 record player in their ride?

    Just wondering if anybody has one in their rod or custom.Do you have pics, stories or info. My bro just put one in his 62 Chrysler and I'm thinking I need to find one for my merc. Any info on the different type etc , Thanks

    None of 'em worked very well when in motion. They also wore out the records fast due to high stylus pressure. The arms were under the record!

  4. I had one years ago,the novelty of a record player in a car was akin to the hand set telephone..better suited for a custom at a indoor car show with Angel Hair,mirrors and velvet ropes. HRP

    You are probably right HRP, probably a good way to kill your battery when you're parked in some remote place anyway. But I thought it would be neat to see some pics if anyone still runs them.Hmm angel hair, mirrors and velvet ropes.
