I need a fuel pump for a '50 Ford with a flathead six in it. Anybody know a vendor for these type of Ford parts?
Believe it or not the napa by me had it on the shelf brand new. The owner of that store is a collector buff, so he keeps stuff like that on hand, but any other napa should be able to order it.
MIKEYBOY at a NAPA near me? I don't know if one in the mid-cities. Got a number? I guess I could do a search...
The one for my '47 was M825. The number for the later pump (bigger base) was M826 I think. Reg. price was about $50, but if you get a discount there you might be able to knock $10 off. Just remembered, these were V8 pumps, at least mine was, 6's might be the same tho.
Believe it or not, Autozone had one for 30 bucks. I'm sure it's some high quality shit, but that will give me time to convert to 12 volt and get an electric pump.
I work at advance and we can get one overnight, i think it was in the $30 range too.... I went through one night and looked to see what all we could get for a flathead...
