You know those springs that operate the hard-top drip rail (raising and lowering when a door is opened or closed)? Well I need some for my '57 fairlane500, and I'd kinda like new ones. Seems like someone ought to re-pop such an important little piece, but heck if I know who or where to start looking. You can find 'em all day long for chevy's on ebay, but I haven't seen any for fords of my year (57/58).

You might try asking this question over on 57fordsforever.com

  6. Pretty sure you can use those from a Tri-5 Chevy hardtop, Danchuk has them.

  7. Does any of those flippers ever work? Ive never seen any that actually worked properly. I look at the pictures posted in various venues and I don't see any that actually work properly. chevy or ford no difference. a 57chevy 4 dr htp don't have any flippers.
