Changing jobs left me without a stall to work on and finish my model a. I have a few things that need to be tied up before it will be roadworthy.

I'm seeking out a shop that can do 1-2 full weeks of work for me, in the near future.

Let me know, email or pm.

Have you picked up a hardcopy of Hemming's Motor News yet? The "services offered" section is FULL of shops.

Car is a 31 model a, car is unchopped, channeled width of frame, traditional front end, ladder bar rear suspension.
I'd consider it about 85 percent complete to driver status. Some things that need to be done...
    Headlights mounted
    Radiator mounted
    Grill shell mounted
    Fuel line ran
Brake line from master cylinder to front drum brakes ran
Motor and gauges have been wired.. Need wiring completed to headlights, and taillights, maybe some other misc wires ran
Floor is only tacked together. I need it fully welded, and piece of 18 guage for the driveshaft tunnel bent and welded in
It has a crate motor (sbc) that is all together, but has not been fired. . I need new plug wires cut crimped and wired.
One problem that has haunted me the whole build is the frame possibly being high on one side, (left to right)
Fluids filled in rear end, tranny, and motor, driveshaft bolted in…
Suspension alignment needs to be done.
That is the basics of what needs to be done. The car has sat for the last 6-8 months because I changed jobs, and the landlord is very strict on doing any work out of my rented garage unit.
My photobucket account with pictures of my project can be found at:

    and

Notice there are 10 pages of pictures in the first link.
I would like the car to be roadworthy, I would like to work out the bugs myself.

    You can visit the shop.

    RCNut,

DO you mean "Rod's Plus"? it was on the frontage road by I-94, before that it was on Golf road for a while & before that in Sturttevant or however you spell it.

It was owned by BOB FRANK, he now works for JW Rod Garage in Belgium, WI. Good parts, good prices, Bob is a really nice fellow & great open mouth kisser.

    Sincerely,
    Cheatercarl
