im sure this is a dumb question and has been coverd but i cant seem to find anything on the web or on this site for this car..the reason i ask about bolt on kits is becuase i dont have a welding machine..but if i can get them bolted on and drive the car to my buds i can weld them in over there.

  2. I know they were made for chev II not sure about Falcon. Good Luck.

well, the first link says it fits 60 - 65 falcons.

the 2nd says it fits 60 - 65, but later on says 63 - 65 V8 cars; but then adds: "Can Be Modified To Fit 60-62 V8 Conversions"

I am pretty sure, when I bought mine, 60-63 are the same body and frame. The 64-70 are different. Not sure how they are different, but my results at the time showed they were. Mine were bolt in but I welded them in. the part that sandwiches the frame boxes did not seem to fit as tight as I wanted, although that may be the fault of the previous owner...he had changed a lot of things that I had to fix to make it right again.

so global west and crites were no help at all..the lady from crites said"well we dont have a 60 falcon here so i cant tell you"..i was like "can you ask somebody?"..she said "no,we dont have a 60 falcon here so i cant tell you"..i was like "ok....."

but i called summit and they have some but are 200..anyone ever used the subframe connectors from summit for a 1960 falcon?...

I don't know why the ones from Crites wouldn't work, full floorpans fit 60 to 65. I looked at the front unibody rails on my 60 and they look the some as my 62 the transmission crossmember is a little different but very minor.

If you buy from Dearborn you will have to mod for a 60 Falcon and I don't think they have a bolt in

Here is a set from my employer's website. They are from Global west, and it says they would ship today, which means we have them in stock. It says 61-65 Falcon, and the picture actually looks just like the ones I got. I am confident that these are the ones you would need. As I said before, the "saddles" did not seem to be tight on my frame rails, so if you intend to bolt them on, test fit them, and get you some 1/4" plate to make some shims from. Once I welded mine in, it stiffened the car up noticably, so make sure you put the car on jackstands at all 4 corners, and get the car sitting level, with all the doors opening and closing properly before you install them.

I am not trying to push business on you, you can buy them from whoever, but just showing they are in stock, and are made by global west...The GW part number is at the top, our part number is lower down, basically their part number + our vendor code for GW...
