Super T and the Tyrone Smith revue at 3rd and Lindsley Friday. Steve-O is at Zanie's comedy club. Other than that, kinda quiet
Prolly party liquor in the hotel parking lot will be the default de jour.

 

saturday night stockcar racing at the fairgrounds......sheesh mike....... and this just in me and carlos get to make the scene after all!!

How's the show and swap meet if it rains. This is my first gg show. Are the Parking lots big enough to park a tractor trailer there?

There is room in the spectator lot if they will let you in. They are charging 5 dollars for cars. Not sure what they would charge for a rig.

The show is "rain or shine" but the swap meet is down by at least 50% due to the weather. It will, however, go on no matter what.

Some one told me they were charging 18 dollars for spectator admission. If that is true, it is pretty steep.

A guy at the show said, "hey man I was behind you doing 75 on interstate and it was pouring rain, how did you see?"

I said, I didn't.

dang,yeah it rained hard on friday, but i still had a good time.A DAMNED GOOD TIME. a wet day at a show is still better than a dry day at work. for me anyway.hey don is that the tornado that hit athens friday?

Didn't see you at GG but I have a bad habit of keeping my eyes glued to the cars and hardly ever see anyone's face.

 

BA sorry I didnt get to see other than when I was riding into the show on Saturday. I wholeheartedly agree a wet at a show is STILL better than a dry day at work... Hope to catch you at some of the Alabama shows this summer. Maybe Ardmore. Take care
