Who is coming!!!!

Tough times for a lot of people and certainly for Joplin- but I just got past me last hurdle for getting my coupe to Joplin again this year- so time for some energy about the 2011 HAMB Drags- Who's coming???? (Made every one except the first one)

I'll be there as usuall, but my little Model A won't be making the trip. A heart breaking decision for sure, but it looks like an airplane and a rental car this year.

Jeff, I guess this means you will not need a helmet this year. I wonder if you can rent a HAMB appropriate vehicle?

I'll be there with my Chevy II. Hilborn injection this year. Still tuning it.

 

Im still fighting the Hilborn on the Stude ,had to use a leak down tester for the idle,and most likely will not get a trial run because of the rain and other places to go but are coming anyway.

 

Look me up at the drags. Red, altered wheelbase Chevy II. Maybe I can be of some help to you. I'm no expert on Hilborns, but I have learned a few things this year.

 

I'm there with the auction attached at my hip.

 

I will be there. Look for the new posters and shift knobs in the vendor tents. I will have some event only pricing on everything.

 

I plan on being there, but like Jeff, no HA/GR.

Sorry, David (D.W.) will not be bringing the coupe. We will be there, but just in our daily. The coupe will be resting in bed for the weekend.

I'll be there in my Sedan. Second trip and hate I missed all the others. Always lived too far away or was on a deployment to some God forsaken country where everybody wants to kill you.

WELL,,,, sad to say but won't be making the trip this year. Have only had the car out a few time anyway around here much less be ready for a trip up there and TOO many things to do to get ready anyway!! Have fun!!! POST PIC'S!!!!

Im in this will be my fourth year to visit the drags but the first time ive take my 56 Chevy down the track.

 

It seems awefully quiet about the drags.........is it just me??

 

I agree. There should be some people talking trash by now. Usually Jeff gets this started but he is not running this year.

There are some that think they can beat my record...but it is easier said than done....

That's all the smack I can come up with beins I'm not racing this year...But, I will be there to give a hand to anyone who drove there to take a shot at the title.
