  3. Not to bad. Did look alittle better before the kid got ahold of a couple spray cans. But I think we can make it look alright again. Motors in getting mocked up.

The 55 Nomad is/was  Dennis Taylors. He made the Willys body. It has a BBC462 hope to have it racing this summer.

This is my Mini Rod Gasser. I hope that it can stand up and be counted even if it is small.

  12. The Henry J was actually in south Surrey, a suburb of Vancouver(canada). It was purchased by the guy I got it from in Lancaster, ca in 1982, has sat in his fertilizer warehouse since then. The word of mouth info I got was that it was parked in the mid 70s and it appears someone started a re-fit and never finished. I have the original frame which was boxed and braced, but it currently has a box-tube frame, probably Alston or something, full cage and aluminum interior, and looks like it was intended for some serious engine setback, just going by the position for the seat etc. There are no engine mounts or holes for seat, steering etc, which is why I figure the re-fit was never finished.

Sorry for the late catch-up, haven't been near the computer in a while. The laws over here for hotrods are good, but still restrictive...they prefer Streetrods - air-cond, lecky windows, basically a new car with an old body over the top, I like HOTrods - bare bones, lots of motor, something to get your heart pounding not weezing.

Had mine out yesterday for 1.5 hours and got home at noon. Right around 30 degrees but clear and sunny. No better therapy than a drive in the '55 rowing the shifter.

Here`s mine, it`s been together for two years now and is a ton of fun. It has a semi traditional coilover front suspension with straight axle and a 4:30 geared ford 9" rear with ladder bars and coilover. I use a tremec 5 speed, 10.3 to 1, 383 sbc stroker with roller cam and Dart pro 1 heads. I run Hurst slicks on the street and raced it 1/8 mile were it went a 7.93 at 85mph. The license reads NUTNFIT and I mean it.
