This probably isn't quite what you had in mind... But yes, it's mine and yes, I built it. Don't judge me, I was much younger then. Doc.
No he wants early Corvairs.... My guess So here's mine Black plate and all I been thinkin' of painting the wheels red for a more traditional look!
Been waiting for a post like this to come along. Had a 62 'vert for a while. Currently looking for a greenbrier/parkwood van or a pickup to appropriate and "clean-up".... So much potential in them. The engines are easy as a vw, Detroit styling was at least 6 years ahead at conception, and they can do a brody/donut like no-ones' business. What's not to like? Tito
I have a 1964 Monza sedan. It was in a dry garage for 33 years. No dents, little rust, and a solid floor pan. Needs brakes, gas tank drained, engine gone through, and a new trunk lid. Then it's customizing time!
This WAS a friend of mines. 10,000 original miles when he got it, sold it at 16,000 miles. Had a mint original red interior, he only added air ride and wheels. Sold it to some guy who gutted the inside and put some mod interior, then he painted the top half black......looked like shit! But is was a cool ride when my friend owned it !!
man , now iam really f@#%^*ing confused. Yeah , i own one , thought bout small blockin it (sic) THE LITTLE RASCAL EVEN HAS AN ELECTRIC ANNT.
just got mine running and driving. bought it from a friend who got it from his fathers estate. it sat in his garage since 1984 where it was used as a shelf. 36,000 miles and no rust-through anywhere. it was in his way so he gave it to me for $800. he is just glad to see someone do something with it
I have several but this is one of my favorites,1964 convertible with Chris Craft reverse rotation 327" Chev 8 engine. I made the adapter plate to mate V8 to stock Corvair transaxle. Radiator is in trunk (front) and has electric cooling fan,
