    Do it Over
    from NYC, NY

You're not alone. In my youth I drove all around NYC to avoid going home. Now that I have a home of my own I prefer stay home and build em. My best bud has spent 50 years driving from NYC to all states east of the Mighty Miss in the 41 Ford he built in his backyard. I hope I can find joy in driving my 5W as I would love to look forward to taking to the road and meeting my good fellow HAMBers , rodders & builders. Here are a few of the last I've built. God willing I'll build dozens more :) .

Don't drive them as much as I would like but I drove all three of them today. I make it up in quantity:) I'm going to drive the vicky to the Pate swap meet next week, that will make up for missed opportunities. VickyCoupeDelivery.jpg.jpg

I love those gratuitous shots RF with your SD in them. I retire this week however there's no tin around here in abundance like there, looks like I'll to go further afield with future travels. ;):D

This was a nice drive, south down PCH from Long Beach to Laguna Beach, across Ortega Hwy to Lake Elsinore with Blues4u

I wouldn't say that Jakes38 and I drive our hot rods. I would say that we flog and destroy our hotrods.
We have buddies with REALLY nice cars, and the conversation has arisen more than once where those buddies wish they had cars like ours.
Unfortunately, the 58 is now burning the roads in Yokohama, so I gotta get my ass in gear on the 39 20181111_135504.jpeg

Lots of snow out in the mountains still, but it was a nice toasty day in town today.

Drove from Pomona to Bonneville. Got pulled over by the police in Nevada. Set the G/BFR record. 210.881mph.

With 3 different rides to choose from, I usually try to rotate or just see which one has the most gas. Snow and salt limits the driving during the winter months but when the weather breaks I do enjoy being behind the wheel. Long trips to Michigan to spend time with Family and enjoy some of the car events there have been a yearly tradition since 94 when my Son moved there. Never owned a trailer queen and my rides do sport their fair share of highway grime and stone chips. If your going to have them, you may as well enjoy them.

  20. Not exactly a hot rod, but my boys and I get out every chance we can get! These were taken this winter, which was extremely mild this year in TN, but we will go for a cruise any time. That's why we bought this car. That's why we got it running. That's why we deal with roadside mishaps with a go cruisin'. The Boys.jpg Silas.jpg Drake.jpg
  21. I drive mine every chance I get - I was in my new 32 coupe all day today, running errands, dropping the daughter off here and there, running to the store - wherever the wife tells me! Being retired helps and the weather has been perfect the last couple three days ....
