White wall paint worth a crap?

Since wide white wall tires cost so much and i'm a typical hot rodder on a budget does white wall paint work? Does it last very long? Does it yellow or do anything crazy? I know this thread has probably been done before. Please dont tell me that. I get enough mouth on here as it is ha ha cause of my handle. Believe me i regret that!

Actually i just want some opinions of people that have tryed white wall paint and how it turned out.

 

Have no clue about the WW Paint but there used to be a fantastic junk yard on the south side of Pryor just north of the RR underpass on Hwy 69. They had 20's 30's and 40's cars stacked like cordwood for at least 200 yards along the highway. Then, in the middle 1970's it all disappeared....really sad, the place was a gold mine. My idea of a cleanup is to wipe out old houses and install salvage yards.

Your talking about Ryals salvage. Its gone now. He had a lot of old tin in there. Been gone for years.

 

I've tried it on radials and it doesn't work worth a crap!!

 

Will HEMI valve covers fit on a SBC? I want a HEMI, but I'm on a budget.

The white paint on tires that say "no hunting" seem to last for decades. Dont know if its house paint. Long, sticky burnouts on real whitewall will make them yellow/brown.

 

grind em do a search for it, takes time but worth the effort and it lasts forever not like the paint

 

Yes but it takes a special gasket.

 

You can use White Latex paint,When it cracks you have a true "Ratrod" look
