I don't "still" have it.. I have it now, but I wasn't even close to being born when it was installed-shit not for another 22 years! Ha. I am planning to keep it just as it is though, maybe clean it up a little here and there. When the time comes that it needs the interior redone, I'll be doing it exactly as it was installed in 60

Thanks man... It's a cool old wagon I'm having plenty of fun with... Lot of work to do on it though.... I've been repairing some interesting "fabrication" on it ,but that's part of the enjoyment for me,

My wifes 64 Galaxie (see my avatar) has a totally white interior:
    Steering wheel
    Most of the dash
    seats
    headliner
    all panels
    console
    seat belts
....and yes, even the carpet is PURE WHITE

That being said, it's been quite the struggle keeping it all white.
She bought some clear floor mats for the front, and you have to constantly move them to cover the area where your foot sits when on the throttle.
Everyone thought white carpet was a crazy idea, but it looks GREAT. She gets tons of complements.
You will need to keep a can of Brake-Kleen on hand and a pure white dish rag or wash rag. Pure white. Spray some on the cloth and you can easily clean the carpet pretty well when you get marks on it (which is ALL the time).

I'll post some pics when I take some this week.

I put upholstered running board covers on my pickup so the people that have to stand on my running boards to look at the interior can't blame me for getting the soles of their shoes dirty.

I've been looking at the Rod & Kulture feature for a while now, and REALLY like it, it just keeps growing on me more and more.

To the OP, I really dig your coupe as well, saw it on another thread, and saved all the pics. Like the headlight treatment. Theres just a ton of really good stuff on this thread.

Thanks mate I'm having a blast with it,I wasn't a fan of the frenched headlights at the start but since I've been "transforming" it to a early 60's look I dig them too,....I need to get the pinstriping done soon because it feels unfinished to me without it....done in white!

The seat backs. I smoothed them off and sprayed them pearl white to match the rest of the car

I noticed as I read through this a couple people saying how hard it is to keep white interiors clean. I picked the smoothest material I could find without any texture to it. My seats have been done for 16 years now and they are still bright white. I drive the car a lot but I keep up on it. I use super clean diluted down and my interior looks fresh. All I do is spray it on and wipe it off. Very easy. I still win best interior awards with it after all these years. I couldn't imagine a Kustom without white seats it just looks the best in my opinion.
