You'll find that cleaning is a fairly easy deal. You really don't need to remove them every time. I just washed them with the same stuff I washed the car with. If I got a dirty spot, a little Spray 9 fixed them right up. Spray 9 is great for the interior too.

what seats did you go with mike?...when i picked up my 39 it had high back bucket seats out of a 70 AMX and looked awful so i pulled them out and sold them and picked up a set of 65/66 mustang buckets, they are a big improvement but im on the fence about going with them or stil trying to find an original bench,

I hate to admit it but, those seats came out of a Scion. Got rid of the headrests and used new foam with a slightly different shape. They fit good and were pretty comfortable. Also, very adjustable.

I am doing the same thing on my 40 Ford 2dr sedan. White seats with red tuck/roll inserts and red piping. white running board covers with a red tuck/roll diamond shape. the board covers will be held on with snaps.

I really like that. Kinda flashy, but it works. Neat.

Dont even have to look to know which car you are talking about. Bahama Blue '32 Tudor with the white and blue interior, right? One of the favorite cars of my youth, adulthood, and middle age. Featured in Hot Rod in '62. What a beautiful car.

Thanks! Inspiration came from a lot of late 50's/early 60's Car Craft magazines! LOL!
Some of the interiors in those magazines were waaaaay over the top.

I modeled the seat design off of a '58 Impala (since my 348 Engine and Steering Wheel are '58/'59 Impala)

That's some nice stuff, guys. Now I feel a little guilty that I told my buddy I didn't want to buy his '32 roadster because it had a white interior.

very cool custom!....is that an early 60's t bird interior?,the previous owner of my 39 installed a 65 t bird rear seat in it and the curve of the body and seat is nearly perfect

I have a problem with white interiors, they're a pain to keep clean yet it's seems to be what I need to see in most of my cars!

My 40 Tudor. I broke it up with blue piping and contrasted the headliner and carpet.
I really liked it, even thinking about using the same sceam in the 40 I'm building now which is a truck. A truck with white interior is just nuts:eek:.

heres some pics of a 29 tudor i built a while back, my wife (stichbitch) did the upholstery work.

white can be hard to keep clean but its well worth it.
