In college one of my fraternity brothers christened me with the nickname "Pistonhead" cause I was always messing with my car. That name has stuck with me for many years. Thing that's interesting is that my wife who I met while in college had the initials CAM. We've been together for 37 years. Guess it was meant to be.

Absolutely Retrograde Gear Head. It doesn't even have to be a car, truck or motorcycle, as long as it's an interesting machine.
    Any more ARGHs out there?

  17. Used to have a 1500cc diesel Citroen AX that did 72mpg, which was great but the build quality was apalling! Still it was very lightweight and quite nippy.

#2 mostly, but also a little of what some of the other guys have added, like #4.
I don't need fast anymore, I just want it to sound and look like it could go fast.

I am all of the above, so I guess I would say I'm an "automotive enthusiast". I like all things auto, all brands, all years and all manifistations. I got it real bad....;)

I also like motorcyles, tractors, four wheel drives, boats, go-karts, RC cars, etc.

If it's got wheels and moves, I'm interested.

    A) you could have the most beautiful car in the world, but if it doesn't perform, than it looses my interest. I wanna go fast and I don't care how it looks. Function is beauty in my eyes.

#2 with #1 on the side.

If it has an engine I love to tinker with it, but I've loved drag racing since my first trip down San Gabriel in '62 and we are hoping for our return to the track this year in our HA/GR project.:D
