This is a 1929 Dodge Victory. Can anyone tell me where the vin tag is?

  2. On a plate on the toe board near steering column, also right front frame below fender.

There was a carry over '28 titled as '29, an all new '29, and the '29 was carried over titled as 1930; the only way to tell the difference between carryover models and regular year models is by the serial number.

Cars before 1968 have a serial number only, which may or may not decode any information about the car. It may or may not match the engine number. In the case of these era Dodges all that can be determined is model, and as noted the year on the carryover cars.
