:eek:I just bought this 50 chevy 2dr dlx. I want to have it done for the april viva. I'm getting the motor built and don't know where to start. i need to rebuild everything but the body and interior. first time doing a build that wasn't already running. don't have cash to buy all at once so i need to start and finish a section at a time.

I like to do suspension..brakes..steering first...then electrics. Then you have a good mechancial foundation for motor and drivetrain.
I've seen too many first timers do motor..trans..the exciting stuff..then makeshift the suspension..brakes. Real dangerous..

Good advice, it'd be a shame to have a good runnin' car wrapped around a tree (or worse) on the way to viva.:( Make it safe first.
