where to find replecement striker plates

im lookinf for a door latch striker for my 54 4dr chevy. all of them work great except my drivers front door. does anyone sell these aftermarket or do i have to search for a used good one? i cant seem to find any online. anyone got any ideas?

Have you looked at thefillingstation.com or chevsofthe40s.com?

 

chevs of the 40's only have the screws... like everyone else. i was able to take one off of a 52 fastback and put it on a 55 buick and it worked. looked identical. looking into tri-fives next.

**take that back, the tri-five chevy's are different...damnit...

Its interesting that you said 55 Buick. Because in my catalog for 49-57's the 55 Chevy stricker has a differant part #. Might be worth looking into, its the Car Shop 800-235-2470
