Technical Where to buy clips....?

  2. Are those the little wire make your own staples. I use very small screws.
    But may have some of the wire make your own staples. Usually toes them. Pm if you want.

    I've always used 3M Weatherstrip adhesive, instead of fasteners. Holds like iron.

    I may have a few packages kickin' around if you really want to go original.

    If you are talking about the metal staples, it`s the only way to go. You have to drill two holes and bend the wire ends over after installing them. It`s a pain in the but as is everything you do the first time is. I buy mine from H&H Classic Parts out of Bentonville Arkansas. Part number 1776. They are stainless steel and come 20 to a pack. They have a booth at the Goodguys event in Des Moines Iowa. I usually buy all they have in stock at the show.

    Here's the one I'm working on now.
    Make sure to let the Adhesive set-up on both surfaces.
    Any excess should be rolled-off in short order.
    The next day if will not budge!
