After a little help if possible. I have seen quite a few times that folks have bought new quality re popped full wheel covers from specialist vendors. I'm itching to get something different and ideally want to steer away from stuff made outside of the US.
Not mentioning any names but the quality of chrome etc on much of the stuff available to me right now is generally pretty horrible and doesn't last too well, especially in the UK climate.
Any suggestions on US vendors or sites that sell re-popped covers or do good secondhand sets?

    Many thanks

eBay is your friend if you are patient. Single caps sell for less than sets so you can acquire a full set over time. Most original caps were stainless or high-quality chrome and there are plenty of nice ones still out there. I have 6 or 7 olds caps 3 Lincoln, and 6 57 ford that were all bought cheap.
If that is too slow for you, try hubcaps.com but their prices are HIGH.

I have not seen them in person, but aren't the repop Olds fiestas stainless steel? Those ought to hold up to any weather. But I still say get some real covers from the '50s. Repops are never quite exactly the same.

Sorry the car will be a mild custom pre 60 Volvo 544. Not a hugely popular car here but a few do pop up. Done the trim ring and dog dish route before and hoping for something suitable in a full cover. I know 5 1/2-6" wide rims fit and hopefully should be dished enough to allow a cap that doesn't stick out too far but clear the front hubs and fit tight and flush on the rim.
