Where is the VIN tag on a 37' Dodge coupe? I am going to look at one this weekend and want to make sure it has one.

It is stamped into the frame?

On my '38 Dodge Coupe the VIN was stamped on the original flathead 6 cylinder engine.

all are correct. The tag on the passenger A pillar number is the body number, the engine number is on the block (of course). Depending on the state the vehicle was first titled in, either could be the VIN on the title. Unfortunately, if the engine number was used and then the engine was changed, it makes for a challenge.
