Where did you get your screen name?

I had a partner in a "C" econo dragster. He started calling me pappa Tyrone. The pappa might have come from the fact my son drove the car, but I don"t know where the Tyrone came from.

 

My dad always says that I like stuff that's "off-beat" and my taste in cars is no exception.

 

I should have added that I am my neighborhood's ranunculous.

Started out as a joke 'HOMER " phrase I used on my License plate on the red car I took the kids to school in. Then I got pulled over in a road block and the osiffer said "MMM RED" wine, had any?? Then I got a "M" version of an Z3 Coupe. And on and on.

In the army no one could pronounce my last name. One day at the rifle range I qualified as an expert with the m60 and my company commander started calling me mangler. I was a medic and he thought it was funnier than a dog pissing on his bosses car that I out shot all his machine gunners.
