    Hi,

we need to cast a couple hundred rocker arms in steel , we can supply the waxes to the caster ,

But most places we have talked to will not cast our wax patterns , and want to charge us $4000-$6000 for a mold to make the wax patterns,
at that price it pushes the "per piece" price up too high.

We need them cast , not CNCed , we have a Bridgeport to do the machining ,

Any ideas ? or if you work / own an investment casting company do you want the job ?

    thanks for your advise

http://www.signicast.com/ try these guys, I worked with them developing some castings for my job a few years ago. 4-6000 is well within their volume window. Would powdered metal work for you?

What do these rocker arms fit ? And if you need that many why not do it yourself.

I do not have a foundry and its not practical to set one up for one job ,

plus a few hundred parts , even if they are on a "tree" of 20 pieces is still a lot of pours if you try and do it yourself ,

Either of the ones Treb11 posted look to be on the line of what you are needing. PMM seems to be the one who welcomes smaller jobs though.

The http://surecast.com/ link finally opened for me the tabs on the bottom of the page seem to work better than the listings up on the page.
