Hi, I am looking for an traditional pedal assembly with 2 pedals. No hydraulic clutch or power booster for the brake. I searched the net but the assemblies are with one pedal for the brake or two pedals but with hydraulic clutch. I looked at Vern Tardels online shop, so-cal speedshop, pete and jakes, speedway motors etc. Here in germany is a guy who sells pedal assemblies for the '32 K member for 365 euro. This is too expensive for me and I don't use a '32 K member. Do you have a hint for me, please? Thanks Markus
Have you looked at Ebay? I always see old pedal setups out of various cars geared towards people who are swapping manual trans into their automatic cars
Look for early Ford truck pedals 46-48 (may be other years also) They have two pedals and mount squarely to the crossmember. There are some good pics on Elrod's AV8 coupe thread. And, they are reasonably priced. I think there was a set on Fordbarn recently for around $40. -Mitch
Cant you just take the ones you have found "but with a hydraulic clutch" and take the master off it and use it as a mechanical one?
What kind of vehicle are you building? Do you want a pedal assembly that mounts to the frame or hanging pedals. For what it's worth, '52-'56 Ford car pedal assembly fits '40-'47 Ford truck cabs like it was custom made for it.
I'am building a AV8 rpu. 8BA Flathead with manual 4 speed. I found a '50 F1 pedal assembly on ebay, thanks for the hint.
Actually, we sell a brake kit and linkage kit for hydro brakes and a mechanical clutch. You would have to do a little fab work, but it wouldn't take much for your application. -Rob
I have some kind of unknown 2-pedal set I picked up, floor mount or underfloor mount by the looks, I'd sell. Out of who knows what old car. Been carrying it to swaps for a couple years now with no luck.
Another question: what 4 speed are you using with the flathead? I used a T5 five speed in mine and it's a great combo...
I used Welder Series arms and built the rest. http://www.welderseries.com/blog/?PHPSESSID=ed72f739e9979ac47c47886d0c883f08&s=pedals&s_cs=true Bob
