Customs Where Can I Find 3.25 in Axle Lockers , Ford 8.8 Rear

    Need em Quick, Assembly time, Body back on Chasis Time. I can only find 3in. Maybe I can make them work, I don't Know. I need some advise on this one, Thanks for any input guys, Stan

    I meant Axle Floaters, I have Ladder Bars with Leaf Springs
     
  3. I don't know exactly what you want, but..........
    "Normal" axle tubes are 3", but 8.8's are 3.25". I've simply purchased parts that are made for 3" axle tubes and slightly grindeded (that's a real word) the "opening" to fit the 3.25" tube. You only have to grind off 1/8" of material on both sides of the connection point for it to fit.

    "Ground" is the word you needed not grindeded

    "grinded" is sufficient...though ground is also correct. :)

  8. I don't know guys......if you grind on one side, and then grind on the other - then flipped the parts around and so on and so on........
    That's alot of grindededing.:rolleyes:

    But really, I could make thems brackets fit in about 15 minutes.:D
