Need em Quick, Assembly time, Body back on Chasis Time. I can only find 3in. Maybe I can make them work, I don't Know. I need some advise on this one, Thanks for any input guys, Stan
I don't know exactly what you want, but.......... "Normal" axle tubes are 3", but 8.8's are 3.25". I've simply purchased parts that are made for 3" axle tubes and slightly grindeded (that's a real word) the "opening" to fit the 3.25" tube. You only have to grind off 1/8" of material on both sides of the connection point for it to fit.
I don't know guys......if you grind on one side, and then grind on the other - then flipped the parts around and so on and so on........ That's alot of grindededing. But really, I could make thems brackets fit in about 15 minutes.
You're right, But have you tried my trick ? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/heres-some-hole-saw-tech-for-you-guys.854599/
